According to Dan Reynolds, the vocalist, this song is to memorise his brother who lost his wife because of cancer in 2019.
根據主唱Dan的訪問，這首歌是為了要紀念他2019年罹癌過世的嫂子

When he saw his brother being knocked down by the death, he felt totally terrible to see him live in grave time and decided to write a song.
當Dan看到他的哥哥被他妻子的離世所擊倒，而整日生活再黑暗之中，而決定要寫這首歌

All the lyrics are hurt deep down audience heart, and make people think about the one.
